• Tithes for September 7: $1,484

• Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA): Sacred Heart has met our ADA goal of $23,910. This was made possible through a generous anonymous contribution and the continued support of our parish family. Thank you for your generosity and prayers.                                                                       

• Parish Financial Update - August 2025                                                                                                   Income: $20,094|Expenses: $27,665|Shortfall: (-$7,571)

• Registration Forms: If you are new to Sacred Heart, or have not yet registered with our parish, please pick up a registration form at the back of the church. Once completed, drop it in the mail slot at the parish office. 

• Fall Rummage Sale – Save the Dates!
  The Women of Sacred Heart (WOSH) will host the Fall Rummage Sale on September 18, 19, and 20 in the Parish Center. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, September 16. (Parish Center open 8:00a.m.-6:00p.m.) Call Gloria (203-4485) or Jaynane (774-6869) with questions. If you'd like to help with the sale please call Evelyn (641-203-2529)
  Kindly note: No TVs or electronics, All items should be clean and in good condition, We are now accepting fall holiday and Christmas items.                                                                                           Thank you for your continued support and generous donations!

• Provide a Meal for RE - Religious Education classes begin Wednesday, October 1 and continue weekly through May. The RE Department is looking for volunteers to provide a meal for all the kids on Wednesday evenings. There are several opportunities to sign up and help with this ministry. If you are interested, please contact Teresa Lahart at 641-203-1236.

• Activities Committee Coffee & Treats – October 5   Join us on Saturday, October 5 for coffee, caramel rolls, and coffee cake/donuts, hosted by the Activities Committee. A free-will offering will be taken to support James and Laurel Perkins and their baby Giavana.

• Thank You! A heartfelt thank you to our Activities Committee for hosting the Iowa vs. Iowa State Tailgate Party! It was a wonderful time of food, fellowship, and fun. Through this event, $1,000 was raised for our Roof Repair Fund. We are grateful to everyone who helped and participated.

• Interested in the Catholic Church? Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and—perhaps—joining it someday? This year’s classes will be starting soon. To register, call Pat Thompson at 774-2734.
