Week of July 5 - July 11: 

• 💙 Second Collection – Next weekend, we will have a second collection to support the ministry of a visiting missionary priest. Thank you for your continued generosity and for supporting the Church's missionary work.

• 🙏 Sacred Heart Men's Group – First Meeting

The newly formed Sacred Heart Men's Group will hold its first meeting this Tuesday, immediately following the 5:30 p.m. Mass.

All men of the parish are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship, faith, and discussion as we begin this new ministry. We hope to see you there!

• 📖 Coming This Fall – The Great Adventure: The Bible Timeline

We're excited to announce that Sacred Heart will once again offer The Great Adventure: The Bible Timeline by Jeff Cavins from Ascension Press this fall!

It has been nearly 20 years since this popular Bible study was last offered at our parish, and many parishioners still remember it fondly. Whether you're experiencing it for the first time or would like to take it again, we invite you to join us.

• ✝️ Knights of Columbus Meeting - The Knights of Columbus will meet Thursday, July 9.

🕡 Mass: 6:30 p.m.
🍽️ Dinner: 7:00 p.m.

• 🇺🇸 July 4th Ecumenical Worship Service

Join the Lucas County Inter-Church Council for its annual July 4th Ecumenical Worship Service on Sunday, July 5, at 9:00 a.m. at the gazebo on the Chariton town square.

Representatives from many of the Lucas County churches will participate as we gather in faith and thanksgiving. ❤️ Everyone is warmly invited to attend!

• 📣 Community Resources & Assistance - Community resources and assistance information are available on our parish website. Parishioners can find details about local programs such as Tuesday Together Meals at the Methodist Church, free summer lunches for children, locations of Blessing Boxes, and the Lucas County Resource Guide.

Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may benefit from it. 

• 🍽️ Meal Support Opportunities - We currently have two meal support sign-ups underway to assist members of our parish community by providing prepared meals. Those interested in helping are encouraged to check their email for sign-up information or stop by the parish office for additional details. 

• 💛 Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA 2026) - Our parish goal is $23,199. Please prayerfully consider making a gift to support the ministries of our diocese. Contribution cards are available in the pews and on the back table.

• 📝 Parish Registration - If you are new to Sacred Heart or have not yet registered, please pick up a registration form at the back of the church. Completed forms may be placed in the parish office mail slot.
