🍩 Mission Trip Thank You — Donuts This Sunday!

The teens and chaperones from our mission trip will be serving donuts after Mass this Sunday as a way of saying thank you for the incredible support our parish has given them! Please join us for a donut, fellowship, and a chance to celebrate their mission trip experience. ❤️

📖 The Great Adventure Bible Study

There is still time to register for The Great Adventure Bible Study, beginning in October! Registration forms are available in the bulletin, at the back of the church, or in the parish office.

📅 Registration deadline: September 7

👨‍👨‍👦 Men’s Group

The Men’s Group will meet on Thursday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m. All men of the parish are welcome!

📚 Religious Education Begins September 2

Religious Education begins Wednesday, September 2, at 6:00 p.m. Registration will take place that evening, and parents must attend.

🍽️ We are also looking for volunteers to help prepare meals for Wednesday evenings. If you are able to help, please contact Teresa Lahart.

🌹 Pilgrim Mother of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Pilgrim Mother of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be at St. Bernard Church in Osceola from Saturday, August 22, through Tuesday, September 1.

Please see the flyer at the back of the church for the schedule of events each day. 🙏

✝️ Christ Our Life Conference

Christ Our Life will be held in Des Moines on September 26 & 27!

🌿 St. Patrick’s Georgetown — God’s Portion Weekend

Our friends at St. Patrick’s Georgetown invite you to join them for their annual God’s Portion Weekend, September 5–6!

The weekend includes an Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, followed by Outdoor Mass, a chicken and roast beef dinner, country store, games, souvenirs, a live auction, lawn social, and raffle on Sunday.

📣 Community Resources & Assistance - Community resources and assistance information are available on our parish website. Parishioners can find details about local programs such as Tuesday Together Meals at the Methodist Church, free summer lunches for children, locations of Blessing Boxes, and the Lucas County Resource Guide.

Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may benefit from it.

💛 Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA 2026) - Our parish goal is $23,199. Please prayerfully consider making a gift to support the ministries of our diocese. Contribution cards are available in the pews and on the back table.

📝 Parish Registration - If you are new to Sacred Heart or have not yet registered, please pick up a registration form at the back of the church. Completed forms may be placed in the parish office mail slot.
